My name is David Becerra. I’m a front end developer from Southern California. I spend a lot of time learning about web development. I’ve started this website to serve as my portfolio. It will showcase some
of the work I’ve done and provide those interested with information on the services that I provide. That being said, this will also be a place for me to write about all the things I’m involved in. Everything
from web development to video games. However, I’ll will most likely write about my experiences with the web.
Tools used by me
I built this site and others using a few different tools. I work on an 15″ MacBook Pro and use TextMate to write my code. However, I do tend to use Coda as well as it has a nice built in FTP solution, which
is awesome for quick changes. Any interface design work I do is put together with Adobe’s Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4. I also use some Adobe Flash CS4 from time to time.
In case you’re wondering…
I am a self taught web developer. As the name of the blog implies, I have stayed up well into the wee hours of the morning learning and practicing web development. I’ve spent a lot of time on sites like
Lynda.com, NETTUTS, and CSS-Tricks. Thanks to those sites and a few books, I picked up XHTML, CSS, jQuery and even some PHP.
